Champions Manchester United bounced back after a heart breaking champions league exit with a thumping victory over Mick McCarthy’s Wolves at Old Trafford. Winger Nani and striker Wayne Rooney scored 2 goals each.

Arsenal’s winning run continues and skipper Van Persie scored his 31^st goal in 2011 with a fantastic volley. Alex Song provided a fantastic chipped through pass and Van Persie slotted the only goal of the match with his left foot.

Uruguay international Luis Suarez proved his quality once again with a match winning goal in the 46^th minute. This victory takes the Reds to 6^th spot in the table.

Norwich scored 4 goals past Tim Krul’s net and Newcastle dropped to 7^th spot in the table after a fantastic start to the season. Wes Hoolahan scored the first goal, skipper Holt scored a brace and his strike partner Morrison also added to the score line. For Newcastle Demba Ba scored a brace but was in the losing cause.

Michel Vorm saved a crucial Client Dempsey penalty

 Swansea 2 – 0 Fulham

Swansea continued their home winning streak with goals from winger Scott Sinclair and striker Danny Graham. But the real man behind the victory was goal keeper Michel Vorm, made some fantastic saves and stopped Client Dempsey’s penalty with an acrobatic effort.

Birthday boy Victor Moses scored and Jordy Gomez penalty helped Roberto Martinez Wigan climb above the relegation zone. Reid scored a consolation goal for the home side.

Marcus Albrighton scored the first goal in Aston villas 2-1 victory over Bolton

Bolton 1 – 2 Aston Villa

Owen Coyle’s position as manager of Bolton is under a big threat after losing to Aston villa at home. Bolton are at the bottom of the table with just 9 points in 15 games this campaign. Albrighton and Petrov scored for Aston Villa and Klasnic scored for Bolton.
